From 1 April 2009 onwards, the Korean Patent Office (KIPO) is offering a new service which will deliver preliminary results of trade mark examination to the applicant within two months, approximately four to five months faster than usual. An additional fee of approx. EUR 90 applies. The aim is to accelerate the settlement of trade mark-related disputes.
